Update

Ok, so almost a month since I heard the news and only 78 days left til D-day, and have I done any of the things I was in such a rush to do? Have I got my passport, applied for my police check or bought my plane ticket?? In short-- no. Hopefully once this last crazy weekend of assignments is over, I'll finally be able to get all these things accomplished. In other news, apparently Cast-a-Way is no longer in charge of hiring in Canada-- all my concerns from now until my departure are in Yummy Jobs' hands. Apparently this company is a strong one, on the message boards at wdwip.com/smf they are always positively mentioned by the UK program participants. I can't help hoping that this change doesn't cause chaos or miscommunications leading up to D-day, but I'm sure it will all go well. Here are the emails I received:

Greetings from Walt Disney World,

As you prepare to depart for your experience here at Walt Disney World, we have some very important information to share with you. Here at Walt Disney World, we are always seeking out the most efficient ways to make our candidates have the most seamless experience possible.

With that said, it is with much excitement that I introduce you to your new Procurement Allies, Yummy Jobs. How does this affect you as candidate in Canada? Yummy Jobs will now be your main point of contact re: all pre-trip planning information for your experience here at Walt Disney World. At this time, I need for each and every one of you to touch base with Yummy Jobs at the email address provided below. Please provide all of the following bulleted information by Wed March 12, 2008.
